The City of Cockburn is building the new sports facility: Success Regional Recreational and Community Facility, Hammond Road, due to come on line in 2010.As part of the building the City is looking to add some unique artwork on the feature walls of the building. Young people between the age of 15 21 are invited to submit a design to be used as part of the tilt up cement wall of the Success Regional Recreational and Community Facility.
As the design will be carved into the wall the design needs to be a simple line drawing with more emphasis on the line rather than colour or texture. Designs should be submitted on either A4 or A3 and should be connected to the theme of Make a Move
There will be a $500 prize for the winning design and two $250 runner up prizes. Designs will be exhibited as part of National youth week from 28 March to 2 April at the Cockburn Youth Centre in Success.
