Artist Niels "Shoe" Meulman gained international fame as the graffiti artist âShoeâ from Europeâs legendary Crime Time Kings and has since gone on to become an acclaimed Dutch calligrapher, typographer and designer.
He explores the contours of words as images in "Calligraffiti" - his hybrid art form which blends calligraphy and graffiti. 'Calligraffiti - the graphic art of Niels "Shoe" Meulman' is an impressive publication showcases a fine selection of artworks by Meulman as he presents for our viewing pleasure a wonderful series of fast phrases and upbeat witticisms in the form of captivating typographic masterpieces.
